To access the forum, you will need to register your details. This is a way to gain
access to the site. Each time, you can login with your user name and password and
if you forget your password, you can click on the “forgot your password” link in
the login page, enter your username and submit so that the admin team would reset
and emailed to you.
Home - Banners
Home page consists of highly configurable banner images. Once you register you can
add any number of images and replace one or more images.
Discussion
In the discussion page you will find the topics discussed, name of the person who
initiated the discussion, number of views, date and time created, number of comments,
and name of the person commented, commented date and time. Once you login you gain
access to start a new discussion. If you wish to start a new discussion, enter the
title of your topic, description of the topic, your name and date / time. Once you
click the save option, your topic will get published. Whenever you login, the comments
/ answers posted for your topic, details of the person who commented and the date
and time commented would display below your post. The answer / comments can be downloaded
for your personal use.
Members
Members have access to
- Edit / delete / upgrade their profile.
- Broadcast mail to all members but it is “moderate”.
- Broadcast Emails can be sent only after approval.
- Replace images in the home page that are configurable from admin panel.
- create new discussions.
- Interactive discussion forums, polls, online survey.
- post events.
- post jobs.
- create survey.
Albums
In the album page you can see list of albums, views for each album, name of the
person uploaded, uploaded date and time. Once you click the album title you can
view the images in the album, title / description and the comments for each image.
You can use the navigator to view next image or you can use the start stop option
to automatically view images or you can skip to view any image. If you wish to upload
your images or to comment on any of the image you need to login. Once you login
you can browse to find your image, upload it, and then add set image details like
Title, description date & time as you prefer. The image automatically resizes according
to the size of the image module. You can comment on the images and save to publish.
Once saved, the images or comment will be published.
Events
In the event page you will find the list of events, number of views for each event,
name of the person who published the event and the date and time published. When
you click on each event, you can see the details of the event, brief description
of the event, venue details, venue map, schedule date / time / duration, name, email
and mobile number of the person whom you need to contact, files uploaded and comments
made on the event. Uploaded files can be downloaded. If the viewer wishes to attend
the event or if he/she feels to convey you inability to attend, there are provision
to make a confirmation of attending the event. The voting details of the logged
person can exported to excel sheet. If you wish to add an event you need to login.
Once you login you can enter the event details in the event form and save to publish.
Job
In the job page you will find the title of the job, experience, location, name of
the person posted and a view and apply option to view the job description or to
apply for the job. If you click the view and apply option you can find the title
of the job, posted date, description, experience required, roles and responsibility
of the job, name of the concern, job location, type of job and comment. If you wish
to apply for the job fill the form below, browse and upload you resume and apply.
If you wish to create a job, you need to login. Once you login you can add the details
of the job and save to publish.
Survey
The purpose of the survey is to stay in contact with students to help develop future
programs of interest with the institution and former classmates. The survey page
is designed uniquely with text filed, text area, radio button, list menus and check
box for members to create their survey structure. In the survey page you can view
the survey topic, name of the person who posted the survey and the date and time
posted. When you click on the survey topic you will find brief details of the survey.
If you wish to create a survey you need to login. Once you login you can create
your own survey structure with the end date so that viewers can post their comments
before expiry. Once the schedule time of the survey exceed the survey expires automatically.
